Join us on 4 July at 1 Wimpole Street to hear from industry leaders and experts about developments in copyright, permissions and licensing, and the latest issues and trends from across the publishing industry.

Topics included: sustainability, policy, rights, AI, as well as a special trade association CEO panel that discussed the year in publishing. For this year's Conference, PLS'  Tom West, Chief Executive, and Amy Byrne, Publisher Relations Executive will start us off with an Introduction to Collective Licensing. Following on, the morning will also include two further PLS-led sessions on how to optimise rights management and permissions strategies.

Alongside these workshops attendees will have the opportunity to hear licensing agent updates. James Bennett, Head of Rightsholder Relations, Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) will provide an overview of CLA licensing and technology solutions for the education sectors, and a second session focusing on the corporate and public sectors, including revenue updates and new initiatives. The morning will close with, ‘IP Crime in the News industry – how NLA track and remove publishers’ stolen content’, a session provided by Matt Aspinall, Head of Commercial Services at NLA Media Access.

We’ll be announcing more speakers, conference sessions, and exhibitors in due course - so keep a close eye on the PLS website!
