Update 17 June 2010
The next royalty distribution (PLS 1021 - July) will see the distribution of fees from UK and USA transactional licences. Fees from the UK include UK Document Delivery fees (including the British Library) and fees from Press Cuttings Agencies. USA fees come from the Copyright Clearance Center's Transactional Reporting Service (TRS) and Academic Permissions Service (APS).
If your organisation has received an allocation in this distribution and is set up for BACS payments, you can expect to receive the money in your account early in w/c 12th July 2010.
Update: 1 June 2010
The next royalty distribution (PLS 1020 - June) will include the distribution of over £600k in fees received by the CLA from various overseas reproduction rights organisations as per its network of bilateral agreements. Please note that this will be a non-title specific (NTS) distribution and therefore if you receive an allocation it will be as a single amount rather than allocated to individual publications.
NTS fees are allocated on a pro-rata basis according to title-specific allocations over the past 12 months.
If your organisation has received an allocation in PLS 1020 and receives royalties by BACS you can expect to receive your payment by Friday 11th June.
Remember that a full title-level breakdown including which licence sector each allocation came from is available, and can be downloaded in your preferred format, for every one of the main distributions we make throughout the year in the Royalties section of your PLSe account.
