The CLA offers a Print Disability licence enabling specific organisations to provide accessible formats of works to the reading impaired, and to circulate them to such persons within the community. The licence has recently been updated in line with the Disability Discrimination Act to encompass other reading disabilities. Approved by rightsowners, the licence has now been lodged with the Secretary of State, and has also been introduced into other CLA blanket collective licences, e.g. the licences for universities, businesses, and government departments.
