Sarah Faulder was appointed Chief Executive of PLS in October 2010. Sarah brings to the role her legal expertise, having been a copyright partner at city law firm, Taylor Joynson Garrett, for 10 years. Sarah also has extensive music industry experience, having been Chief Executive of the Music Publishers Association for 9 years.
Collective management of rights has been central to her career and she has gained direct experience of it in her latter roles as Chargée de Mission at BIEM and CISAC, the Paris based umbrella organisations for collecting societies from all over the world, and as Public Affairs Director for PRS for Music.
Sarah has also been involved in lobbying in both Brussels and Westminster and has served on several boards, including the British Copyright Council.
