If you are an organisation that publishes material with an ISBN or ISSN number then you will be entitled to receive potential royalties from the collective system in the UK.  For print publications all UK publishers are automatically included in the system and are legible to receive royalties if money is collected for your publications. PLS holds any royalties in trust until we can locate the publisher.

Signing up with PLS is straightforward.  We’ll simply ask you to submit the details of the titles that you currently own. We will also need a completed and signed PLS Publisher Mandate form from you. We will then be able to check how much you are owed in royalties and forward those monies to you. You will also receive copyright royalties on an ongoing basis as and when they are allocated to publications that you own.

If you have any questions concerning the PLS mandate, or title ownership, please contact us at the PLS offices on 020 7299 7730, or email i.forbes@pls.org.uk
